Seemantham is a set of Vedic Poojas and rituals performed for the welfare of Pregnant Women. It ensures a good and healthy delivery of the baby. The Udaka Shanthi mantras that are chanted during Seemantha makes sure that it protects the womb of Mother.
The Seemantham rituals include significant poojas like Punyahavachanam, Kalasa Stapanam, Udaka Shanthi, homams, and Kalasabhishekam for the Mother. Pure Kalasa water increases the Mother’s strength and enables her to give birth to a strong and healthy baby.

When To Perform Seemantham?
Seemantham is celebrated during the 8th month of pregnancy. The date and Lagna of a Shuba Muhurth date have to be fixed based on the Nakshatra of the husband and wife.
