What is Dhanishta Panchakam?

In Vedic astrology, when a person passes away during Dhanishta Panchakam, it is believed that there is a risk of another untimely death in the family within a few months. To prevent this, performing Dhanishta Panchakam Shanti is highly recommended.

When to Perform Dhanishta Panchakam Shanti?

This Shanti should be conducted:
✔️ After the 15th day of death
✔️ Before 3 months for best results
✔️ Latest by 6 months, failing which Mahamrityunjaya Japam and Navagraha Shanti must be performed.
