Kedareswara Nomu or Vratham
Kedareswara Nomu or Vratham was performed by Parvatiamma to become a segment of Lord Shiva, to create the famous avatar called Ardhanareeswara. This avatar states the importance to look at women as equal to men. This vratham is also known as Kedara Gauri vratam as Gauramma performed this vratam.
This pooja is performed by invoking Lord Kedareshwar and chanting mantras dedicated to him and then the pooja is continued as per Shastras.
When To Perform Kedareswara Nomu Or Vratham?
Usually, this Vratham is done during the Amavasya that comes during Diwali.
