Mahalakshmi Homam is performed to get the blessings of the Goddess Mahalakshmi. Goddess Lakshmi is the god of wealth, light, prosperity, wisdom, fortune, & fertility considered the consort of Lord Vishnu and helps to attain financial stability.
This homam is performed by invoking the Goddess Lakshmi, followed by the chanting mantras of Devi Lakshmi, and then the homam is performed by offering Lotus flowers to Agni.
